Workington's Northside Community Centre News July 2024
The community centre has a weekly fare share to support the local community during the cost-of-living crisis. With fruit, vegtables, household and longlife products available.
All they ask for is a small donation, so whatever you can afford to support them to continue this work. They welcome everyone, not just those that are unemployed or pensioners, those who work and struggle month to month are also welcome to make ends meet and stay afloat.
In addition to this, the centre has a weekly warm hub where fresh soup is made. All are welcome to attend. This is also beneficial for those that are lonely and would like to have some company and a chat with others.
