Living for Life Cumbria Ltd Says goodbye to its founder.
What a busy start to 2025!
We would like to share our big news being open and transparent as always with all our followers and associates. The company has gone through a change of ownership.
As you are aware the company was founded and operated by a local family, Alan & Sharon Hunter with support from Amy Sutherland back in 2012.
Over the years the company has supported many different individuals with differing support needs in various settings across Allerdale, Copeland and Eden. Alan & Sharon have given a lot of their time and resources over the years as well as creating sustainable employment opportunities for local people.
Their vision was to provide bespoke care and support to individuals that was cost effective for both the individual and the commissioning body. Remaining true to our ethos of "quality over quantity" which is something the company is very proud of.
Due to personal reasons, Alan & Sharon were no longer able to continue with their vision and had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to Living for Life Cumbria.
We fully understand how and why they reached their decision, and we respect it.
However, we will still see Alan from time to time as he will be keeping on top of any repairs and other remedial aspects within the company.
The company wishes them the very best for the future and thanks them for getting us to where we are now.
